  • Enrichment & Extra Curricular

    Our vision at Yardleys is one of academic excellence and educating the whole child. We see our extra-curricular and enrichment programmes as crucial to achieving these two aims. We believe that curriculum and learning do not just stop at the classroom door, and conversely, the knowledge, skills and experiences that a student brings with them into the classroom can greatly aid them in their studies. When our students leave at 16, after being with us for five years, we want them to be well-rounded individuals fully capable and confident of following whatever path they choose.


  • Instrumental Lessons

    Students at Yardleys school now have an exciting opportunity to take part in free instrumental lessons as an additional offer to their existing Music education.  These lessons will take place during the school day, with students leaving other lessons on a rotational basis to spend 20/30 minutes learning an instrument or having singing lessons.  

    These lessons will be delivered by department staff in music classrooms. Lessons will run for half term blocks throughout the year, with students able to continue if they have met the conditions of the course.
